At times I feel it's hard wired,cause it is seamless and fast. I have had the linksy for about 4 months now with a dsl connection. I have had trouble with my system from time to time and when I contacted my ISP they would always say it was probably my router. After a few of these calls the techs now say oh I see you have a linksy E-1500. Then they seem to always find a problem somewhere else. I have gotten to where I sort of look foward to having to call the ISP. jim in mo. p.s my laptop and router are 40 feet apart and there is 3 walls in the way. love it. Thx 2/13/12

Setup is a breeze I replaced and old, old Linksys router with this model. Setup was easy, unit works like a charm. I had been having problems getting access to the old router, this one has never failed to hook up immediately. 11/25/11

Super easy I had previously bought other brands of wireless routers and couldn't get them to work. This was the easiest to set up and use. It only took about 5 minutes to set it up and it was ready to go. I would recommend this to anyone! 11/24/11

Great Upgrade from WRT54g! My old wrt54g was damaged from moving so I had to purchase a new router. The E1500 caught my eye and I haven't looked back since. Great for the price! 11/9/11

2 Cisco routers I have bought two "Cisco Certified refurbished " routers from the Cisco store. The first one was "DOA" and the 2nd, and last one, worked for a total of 5 minutes. Out of those 5 minutes, only wireless B/G and G worked. Wireless N and Mixed would not work at all. 11/8/11

Fast, reliable, and super easy set up I debated the pros and cons of dual vs single band and gigabit technology. But in the end, I wanted a) the speed of the n standard; b) better range; and c) better reliability. I got all of those. In the 3-4 months I have owned this router, I have never needed to re-boot it. I had to re-boot the old router about twice a week. The range is great, and for every device I have that supports the n standard, there has been a noticeable increase in speed. Videos streamed on NetFlix, for example, are clearly better. I was also very pleased with how easy the setup was. The last router took me several hours to configure, and most of that was guess work. This one was very easy. I had it connected to half a dozen different devices of varying ages, with none of the connections taking more than a few minutes. 10/27/11

Good product, range dissappointing This linksys E1500 is very good in terms of multiple devices connecting and disconnecting throughout the day, and it doing so very quickly and efficiently. I have not had to reboot it ever, unlike the belkin I had before. I have had no issues with speed or disconnects to report. However, the range is not as great as I expected. That said, I'm in a large house. So if you are in an apartment or condo or townhouse, you'd be fine. I was just hoping for more... 10/23/11
