I wish it would work I had high hopes for this router after having had a very good experience with my last Linksys router. Overall set-up has greatly improved and Cisco Connect is a good concept. Setting up the router was fairly easy and straight forward using Cisco Connect. I was up and running in a matter of minutes. I purchased this particular model wanting to take advantage of being able to print off the USB port on the router. I couldn't get it to recognize the HP Laserjet printer. I chatted with the support team 4 times - updating router firmware, getting newest version of Cisco Connect, resetting the router twice, and even replacing the router with another new e3200. I really feel that the support team was doing all that was possible. Ended up with a Netgear N600 Premium Edition from Costco which was just as easy to install. The printer is working through its USB port. I had contacted their support team for a minor "how to" and they also were helpful. This puts me in a position to note differences between the two routers. All the indicator lights on the e3200 are on the back by the connection ports. The Netgear had them on the front facing panel. The Netgear can be mounted vertically or on a wall which really helps minimize its footprint on a desk or shelf. The Netgear also has an ON/OFF switch in case one needs to power cycle the unit. I like the features of Ready Share Cloud and Clear Channel Selector on the Netgear. i am now satisfied. 1/30/12

Exceptional Router! I am extremely pleased with choosing this router. I reviewed many different brands and sizes of routers at the retailer but knowing Cisco in my opinion is the best technological company in the country I choose one of their products above all other brands. The first router I ever purchased was approximately 5 years ago and it was the Cisco Linksys Wireless G. It worked very well. My experience as a beginner using that router was so good that I knew that I would buy another Cisco product. We have laptops and now tablets and wanted all of our equipment to be wireless. I stood at the retailer for an hour last night reviewing all brands and did even consider any others. The hardest choice I had to make was choosing from the numerous types and sizes that Cisco now offers! I chose the E3200 as it seems to offer everything we would need inside our home. I have a very fast internet connection and wanted a router size and type that would make use of my connection speed. I was very impressed with how quickly and easily the E3200 could be setup, connected, and used. It was by far the best choice I could have made. All of our equipment was able to connect to the router in seconds and works excellent on our tablets and the speed of the connection is unbeatable. Making my purchase through my local retailer was less expensive than a direct purchase although it was still a little more expensive than I expected. Even though we spent twice as much on the E3200 than we intended to spend on a router, it is definitely worth the purchase. Cisco produces unbeatable products and I will always choose their products over any other brand. This router is exceptional and I recommend it to everyone who is looking for a excellent mid-priced router to improve their wireless experience in their home. 1/9/12

Good and easy setup This router has been great from the start it was easy and fast to get going, We dropped our TV cable Service and opted to have high speed internet to stream movies. The linxus g router we had was too slow we bought this one installed it and havent looked back, and we are not technically smart. 12/3/11

plug and play! This router was unbelievably easy to put into service--a huge improvement over the last Cisco router it replaced, on many levels: installation, passwords, software, etc. And it is proving ever so much more reliable. 11/14/11

Nice router with features for a family I bought the router for the dual band capability, security firewall and the USB port. I have several computers in the household as well as wireless devices to connect the TVs to the internet for Netflix movies and various other television shows. The system is easy to setup. It only took a couple of minutes to setup the router and connect my wired and wireless systems. Security is tighter than my old linksys as you will need to confirm each computer and/or device that you want to connect via wireless to the router's home network. Nice feature here is the router is setup with two networks, a home network for all the families computers and a guest network, that is a secure network that you can allow friends and visitors to use that will not compromise the security of your internal home network. There is also a parental control feature that lets you block any computer on your network by the time of night (my teens computer on school nights) and by websites they can visit. This feature comes with standard template that allowed me to block my daughters computer from the network after her bedtime on school nights with a couple of clicks of the mouse. I really like the USB port, not only will it support usb drives but printers as well. I have not used a printer yet but the usb drive is supporting all my backups on the network as well as storage for files I need to access from different computers. All computers that are joined to the home network are allowed to access the usb drive. Transferring files and backups have never been easier. The drive is available as long as the router is on. I can also access the drive from my wireless devices to stream pictures and movies too. I can now turn any TV in the house into a electronic picture frame with my families pictures on them. I have not had to use the advanced utilties to setup a gaming port the the built in firewall yet but it is a nice feature as the kids get older and into network gaming. 11/12/11

E3200 Very nice router - dual band I had a dependable wrt54g router previously and this E3200 is just as dependable and more. The hardware setup was easy, the software config/setup was easy, the speed is very fast running both bands with streaming movies and about 10 devices in the household. The only small issue I have is that I have this router in the basement against a wall and the wireless reaching to the 2nd floor on opposite side of house only gets 3 out of 5 bars, it still works and is better than the wrt54g but with 6 internal antenna's I would almost think I should get more. Maybe an optional antenna jack would be a perfect addition. I have plans to add a hard drive to the usb jack in future, but this router is very nice. 10/27/11
